In Nigeria / Ghana – Ose Dudu, Dudu Osun, Alata Samina and Anago Samina. The breakdown for it in Yoruba medicine, soap is called Ose and black Dudu thus Ose Dudu.

There are a few basic ingredients which include Red Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Roasted Plantain Skins, Roasted Cocoa Pods, shea or cocoa butter. The soap contains no lye, it’s 100% natural. The plantain skins and cocoa pod ash are used to saponify the oils and butters.

There is so much to know about #AfricanBlackSoap. In fact, the #Ghanaian black soap is an adaptation of the Nigerian black soap and is lighter in color. This soap controls oily skin and certain skin conditions such as eczema, acne and blemishes. It also relieves the skin from irritation and dryness.


Pure and gentle on the skin for bathing or as a hair shampoo. Eliminates body odor. Relieves scalp itchiness and irritation. Clears acne and eczema. Reduces stretch marks, skin discolorations and evens out skin tone.

    The soap great. It feels amazing first wash but it’s too expensive it’s $20 for 1 ball of the black soap. The last time I got 2 for $20. Now it’s gonna last me just 10 days and I’ll need to order more. It’s way cheaper in African.
