Honoring Ghana – The Gateway to Africa

Hi there, Kings and Queens!

GHANA – The Gateway to Africa

This March, we are celebrating the month of Ghana’s Independence!

In honor of Ghana’s liberation six decades ago, let us continue to push forth the ideas driven by my nation’s independence. For us, Ghanaians, our rightful freedom serves as a foundation for limitless growth. As a Ghanaian citizen, I remain devoted to create opportunities for my people and to inspire many others all across the world.

I’ve spent the last year showing you the beauty of my country and the products that carry the secrets of my African heritage. My ancestors knew the importance of caring for their body through natural ingredients they cultivated from our land.

Today, we are continuing the tradition by focusing on all natural products that heal our bodies from the inside out, especially now when we live in the world where it’s so hard to distinguish what’s pure and natural from what has been processed and manipulated.

Ghana remains a country rich in natural resources like gold, timber, cocoa, rice, cassava, peanuts, corn, bananas, and of course, shea nuts. It’s time for our Kings and Queens to not only FEEL the beauty of our land on our skin, but to TASTE Ghana!

With this, I am happy to announce that later this month we are releasing the Africa Box, which is a collection of pieces that make Ghana home for me. I want to share this with you so that you can also experience Africa from right where you are.

Lastly, Download our new eBook today titled Ghana – The Gateway To Africa in honor of our country’s independence. With each download, one more brick is added to building our educational center for the children in my village, the ones you see in my videos and pictures. The center will be a place where our children can learn a craft, study different languages, technology and more.

Tell me what you think about my latest ebook. Keep posted. I promise to share every step of our journey with you so we can keep your skin and your soul glowing!

Are you ready to FEEL and TASTE Ghana?

XOXO,

HAMAMAT

Africans Do Everything With The Hands

Traditional African Architecture

Hi there, Kings and Queens!

Eating with your hands!?

Yes! In Africa we do EVERYTHING with our hands, especially in rural Africa! Eating with our hands is just a small portion of what we do in daily African culture.

Working with your hands gives you a connection with what you are doing, and Africa is all about strong connections, extraordinary feelings and positive energy. Eating with your hands allows you to feel the texture of the food which leads to enjoying your food more. When you eat with your hands, the flora in the fingers gets swallowed. It is beneficial for the health of various bodily parts such as the mouth, throat, and intestines, and it even promotes healthy digestion in the gut.

Handling food with your fingers releases digestive juices and enzymes. Also, millions of nerve endings found within your fingers send out relay messages to the brain that you’re about to eat, including the temperature of the food, potential level of spiciness and the texture of food, thereby prepping the stomach for digestion.

Try eating lunch with your hands today! You may feel slightly dirty or out of the ordinary while doing it, but I guarantee you’ll have fun with it! It’s a great way to connect with your inner being. Eating with your hands allows for a deeper connection with what you’re digging into. As it may seem foreign to most cultures – in African, this is majorly considered as peaceful manners.

I encourage everyone to connect with African culture! Eating with your hands is just one way you can do this. Try it out and experience for yourself the bond you’ll start to create with the food and nature.
